It’s been quite a year! 2008 could be dubbed as the year of market collapses, stimulus packages, and Treasury bailouts … but also the year of hope, and of change. We have had a year of historic firsts, as well the onset of truly uncertain economic times.
The Westside Urban Forum is reviewing 2008, looking for the good, the bad, and the ugly, and peering into the future to see what this portends for 2009. Moderated by Dana Cuff, UCLA Professor of Architecture and Urban Design, our panelists, Chris Hawthorne, LA Times Architecture Critic, and Mark Lacter, LABiz Observed will be sharing their insights into what happened in 2008. And what it will mean for 2009 and beyond.
