IKAR's Parent & Me program is focused on developing friendship, curiosity, respect, and Jewish identity for young children and their parents. Each class includes exploratory play, parent discussion, music and much, much more. We will not only discuss the takhlis (nitty gritty) of parenting, but we will also think about what it means to be a Jewish parent (think creating new family traditions, changing spirituality, etc.). Our current program is for children ages 0-12 months (and their parents, of course!).
Classes will be facilitated by Joni Weiss. Joni has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's degree in Early Childhood Development. She is a certified educator and has been working in the field for 10 years with children ages 0-8.
The cost for the series is $120 ($20/class) for members and $150 for nonmembers ($25/class). Feel free to contact Lisa
