 "Lessons Learned the Hard Way"

Kristen Waggoner will discuss a few of the more challenging cases in
which she has been involved, the role calling plays in daily life, and some of
the more difficult lessons she is learning during her journey.

Speaker Bio:  As a partner at Ellis, Li & McKinstry, Kristen's practice focuses on civil litigation, appellate, employment, family and constitutional law. Much of her practice involves representation of private schools and colleges, churches and other non-profit organizations as well as individuals needing assistance in resolving family disputes. Kristen was named a "Rising Star" every year since 2005 by Washington Law & Politics. She frequently speaks at seminars and events on legal and cultural issues.

Prior to joining ELM, Kristen clerked for Justice Richard B. Sanders of the Washington Supreme Court. She is also an adjunct faculty member of Northwest University.
