Tom Hodge, General Partner and Chief Operating Officer Frazier Healthcare Ventures
Speaker Bio: Tom is a General Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of with Frazier Healthcare Ventures, having joined the firm in 2000. With over $1.8 billion under management and offices in Seattle and Menlo Park, CA, Frazier Healthcare is a leading provider of venture and growth capital to emerging healthcare companies. Mr. Hodge oversees the firm's operations, assists with the evaluation and structuring of portfolio investments, supports portfolio planning and exits and coordinates firm strategic planning and development of personnel. He has over 25 years of experience working with emerging healthcare and information technology companies and management of professional organizations.
Prior to joining Frazier Healthcare, Mr. Hodge was general counsel and a member of the executive team at Loudeye Technologies, a digital music company that was acquired by Nokia in 2006. Before joining Loudeye, Mr. Hodge practiced corporate and securities law for 20 years, most recently as a partner in the emerging companies practice group and chairman of the Seattle business department of Heller Ehrman/Venture Law Group, an international law firm. In his law practice, Mr. Hodge managed venture capital financings, public offerings and M&A transactions and advised clients on corporate governance and securities compliance matters. Mr. Hodge graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law and Houghton College. Tom and his wife attend Westminster Chapel in Bellevue.
