Westside UrbanForum is now in its third decade as the premier networking organization dedicated to the land-use dialogue impacting Los Angeles’ Westside. Our monthly speaker series features good company and distinguished insightful speakers focused on a lively debate about the future of our urban fabric.  As a group of developers, planners, designers, architects and community members engaged in all facets of planning and development, we seek to increase the quality of policy discussions impacting the Westside.

  Starting with a few barns and predictable weather, Hollywood was the birthplace to the modern day motion picture industry. Since the early 1900s, Hollywood endured its share of ups and downs. Most recently, after decades of neglect, Hollywood has undergone a makeover and is once again the bustling entertainment and tourism center of the region. The subway arrived, residences and hotels were added, world-class nightlife, shopping, and dining has returned, transforming it into one of the most popular destinations in the world.
