Killington Ski Club Programs: SKILLFULS Program
|
SKILLFULS is a wonderful season long ski instruction program for adult members of the Killington Ski Club. The focus is on improving your skiing skills with the guidance of our PSIA affiliated coaches. But the real emphasis is on having fun in a relaxed social setting. SKILLFULS combines top level instruction and carefully managed class sizes with emphasis on your skiing development; all in the friendly atmosphere of your fellow club members. Ski with your friends, meet new ones, all while improving your skiing |
About the Program
SKILLFULS is designed for the intermediate to advanced skier with the desire to improve. The classes blend solid, technical instruction with miles and miles of free skiing on all types of terrain. The classes are intentionally kept small to provide you with individual attention. As you get better, there's always an opportunity to move to a class more in keeping with your newfound skills. Find your Skiing Ability in this Handy Chart.
Class Structure - 11 mountain style classes / 3 hours each with 7 to 9 skiers/class. We've added one class to get an early start on the season
Recreational Racing - Sandy and Doug will set a course and conduct a racing clinic for members of SKILLFULS. A great way to get into the gates
Barbeques & Parties - This year we'll expand the traditional end-of-year party to include two additional cookouts during the season at the club.
Videotape - Each coach will videotape their class at strategic points during the year. A great way to see your progress.
Private lessons - SKILLFULS will provide private lessons for those seeking an additional edge . The lessons are available to all SKILLFULS members of any ability.
The SKILLFULS Program is very popular because of its continuity and highly professional instruction. Having one instructor for ten lessons of three hours each, over a full season, provides the best possible results. And, all the instructors are P.S.I.A. affiliated with state of the art qualifications and background.
You are invited to join the Killington Ski Club and participate in the SKILLFULS Program.
