Development Executives Roundtable (DER) builds thriving organizations and communities by helping nonprofit professionals teach the joy of giving, providing accessible training and peer support for Bay Area fundraisers at all stages of their careers.
“What is important is how we see ourselves. We ought to see ourselves as professionals, in our ethical structure, the values we believe in and espouse, our acceptance of the privilege of the public trust, and our selfless commitment to the mission that we serve.”
- Henry A “Hank” Rosso

Alan L. Wendroff
Memorial Fund
The late Alan L. Wendroff, a longtime member of AFP-Golden Gate Chapter and DER unselfishly served many in the philanthropic community as a mentor, author, teacher, active committee and board member, and in many ways as the spiritual heir to Hank Rosso. A memorial fund has been established in his honor.
The fund will support the educational mission and programs of the AFP-Golden Gate Chapter. You are invited to join many of us in our community who have already made gifts and pledges in Alan’s honor.
Your generosity will continue the tradition of education and mentorship given to us by Hank Rosso and so ably modeled by Alan throughout his professional career. Gifts in Alan’s memory may be made to AFP-GGC Wendroff Fund, and mailed to AFP-GGC, 14814 Bronson Avenue, San Jose, CA 95124.
If you wish to know about other ways you may assist with the Wendroff Fund or have questions please contact Jim Armstrong at jarmstrong@brownschroeder.com.
